Body of Lies
This Ridley Scott directed Iraq thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe sounds good on paper, but in reality, it's a bit dull. Leo stars as Roger Ferris, a CIA agent working in the Middle East to bring down terrorist cells. He has a strained relationship with his boss, Ed Hoffman (Crowe). The pair hatch a plan to bring in a major Islamic terrorist, but it could be dangerous and not everybody is going to like it.
Body of Lies has its ups and downs, there are some great action sequences, DiCaprio is pretty good in his role as a man undercover in the Middle East and the setting is obviously a political hot topic at the moment. On the downside though, much of the start of the movie is pretty dull and not all that much happens, it picks up towards the end, but for the most part, I had a feeling of, what's the point?
Overall, not terrible and it has its moments, but it lacks drive in places.
