Eight Legged Freaks
Director: Ellory Elkayem Year: 2002 Language: English Country: America
Deep in the Arizona desert, a toxic waste spill near a spider farm leads to the arachnids there growing to epic proportions and terrorising the residents of a small mining community.

Eight Legged Freaks could be described as a poor man's Tremors, but that would be kind to Tremors. The plot is cliched, the acting and screen writing awful and the CGI spiders vary from fake to downright atrocious. While there are a couple of funny moments (some intentional, some not), the film drags on as it makes its way to its weary conclusion.

There are much better examples of this kind of movie and so Eight Legged Freaks should be avoided at all costs.
