In this sequel to the 1995 animated hit Toy Story we rejoin the original cast as well as meet some new characters. Cowboy doll Woody learns he is a collectable when he accidentally finds himself in a yard sale and is stolen by an evil toy collector and manager of a toy shop. He soon meets a number of other toys who were part of the same range as him, including the sassy Jessie the cowgirl. Meanwhile, his friend, Buzz Lightyear, rounds up a rescue party consisting of Mr. Potato Head, Hamm the piggy bank and Rex and tracks Woody down, saving him from a life in a Japanese toy museum.

Toy Story 2 is similar in tone to the original and features the same level of CGI which still looks good 10 years later. The plot is a little inane, but there are some good jokes and the main characters are mostly likeable.

Overall, reasonable, but probably a little over-rated.
