Our flights to Tokyo took us first to Copenhagen and then on to Tokyo's Narita airport from there. The Copenhagen flight left Edinburgh 6:50, with check in at 4:50 it seemed pointless to even attempt to sleep, so we pulled an all nighter and turned up at Edinburgh airport far to early at 3:50.
When we finally got to Copenhagen we find out that the airport is completely mince. Nothing to do and with 6 hours till our flight to Tokyo, we had to be content with the PS2 they provided in the airport with Richard Burns Rally. There was also an XBOX, but it had gone and crashed, damn them how could the testers have let Beyond Good and Evil ship with a fatal class A bug in it.
The flight was delayed for 45 minutes just to prolong the agony, after 6 hours of pure boredom, I was getting annoyed and hoped the plane would be half decent. Luckily when we finally got on the plane, all the previous hours of hell went out the window we had been given the most awesome seats ever (well in cheapy economy class at least). Right at the back, we could recline to our hearts content without pissing anybody off and SAS's inflight entertainment system kicks ass. In the back of every seat was a small touch screen TV, this gave you access to such excitements including a camera on the front of the plane and a camera on the bottom, you could also choose which of the 4 or 5 movies you wanted to watch. Even cooler, the remote in the arm rest came out and could be used as a control pad for games. It even had little L & R buttons, if only the games had been half decent it would have been the best thing ever.
