World Wide Wilkie - Tokyo - Day 9

First thing we headed to Suidobashi Station where the Tokyo Dome Baseball stadium is, it's also home to an amusement park right in the middle of the city. The roller coaster even goes through a hole specially put into the surrounding buildings.

After I had ridden the roller coaster, we headed to koishikawa korakuen, a traditional park. Sitting right in the middle of the city with huge buildings and busy roads around, the park was a little piece of tranquility within the hustle and bustle of Tokyo.

One of the main sights in the park is the full moon bridge, so called because the reflection of the bridge in the water gives the impression of a full circle.

From Koishikawa Korakuen we then hopped on the Subway and headed to Ueno, after looking around a bit we ended up in Ueno park where we paid a visit to Ueno zoo, home to some of the most bored looking animals I have ever seen. Although they did have Gentoo penguins!
